Writing for Visual Thinkers is an e-book textbook. The book explores various relationships between writing and design, allowing students to incorporate various ideas and methods of writing into their work. The e-book format allows for dynamic media (such as podcast interviews, video and downloadable PDF exercises), to be easily accessed. The book is currently under development and this blog is intended to create a dialogue and share ideas for book content.

I've come to believe that writing is as much a design practice than the making of any other thing. In fact, in a world of too many things, with evidence that the design profession needs a complete redesign to deal with unsustainability, writing and education might be our most powerful design tools.
I recently wrote an article for the Australian Graphic Design Association journal that I submit as an example.
Thank you John and I agree with your comment. I also believe that writing will really complete a design. The media solution and the descriptive language is as important.
